Pain varies by individual and piercing location. Most people describe it as a quick pinch or pressure sensation that lasts only a second. Earlobe piercings are generally the least painful (2/10), while cartilage and navel piercings may be more uncomfortable (4-5/10). We use proper techniques and high-quality needles to minimize discomfort. The anticipation is often worse than the actual piercing!

Needle Piercing (What We Use):
• Sterile, single-use hollow needle
• Creates clean hole without tissue damage
• Less trauma, faster healing
• More precise placement
• Can accommodate various jewelry types

Piercing Gun (What We Avoid):
• Cannot be properly sterilized
• Uses blunt force to push jewelry through
• Causes tissue crushing and damage
• Higher risk of infection and complications
• Limited to certain jewelry types

Professional piercers always use needles for safety and better results.

For initial piercings, we only use our implant-grade jewelry that has been properly sterilized and is specifically designed for healing piercings. We cannot pierce with outside jewelry due to:

1. Sterilization concerns - We cannot guarantee proper sterilization of outside jewelry
2. Material safety - Unknown materials may cause reactions
3. Jewelry design - Healing requires specific jewelry styles and sizes
4. Quality control - We stand behind our jewelry quality

Once your piercing is fully healed (after the recommended healing time), you're welcome to bring jewelry for us to insert, or purchase new jewelry from our curated collection.
