Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before your first class

Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows for movement. We recommend bringing your own yoga mat if you have one, though we do provide mats and all necessary props. Avoid eating a heavy meal 1-2 hours before class and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.

Absolutely! Yoga is not about being flexible - it's about meeting your body where it is today. Our instructors will offer modifications for all levels. With regular practice, you'll naturally gain flexibility over time, but it's never a requirement to begin.

Even practicing once a week can provide benefits, but we recommend 2-3 times per week for noticeable improvements in strength, flexibility, and stress reduction. Many of our students find that a daily practice, even if just 15-20 minutes, creates the most profound benefits for both body and mind.

Yoga classes focus on physical postures (asanas) combined with breathwork, often ending with a short meditation. Meditation classes are entirely seated practices where we explore different techniques to calm and focus the mind. Many students find combining both practices creates a balanced wellness routine.

Yes, we offer private yoga and meditation sessions tailored to your individual needs and goals. These are perfect if you're working with specific injuries, want personalized attention, or prefer practicing in a more private setting.
