3. Appointments and Cancellations
3.1 Scheduling
Appointments can be scheduled via phone, email, or through our website. We require at least 24 hours' notice for scheduling most services.
3.2 Cancellation Policy
We understand that sometimes schedule changes are necessary. Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of $50
- Same-day cancellations or no-shows may be charged 50% of the scheduled service fee
- Emergency service cancellations have special considerations - please contact us directly
3.3 Late Arrivals
If our technician arrives at the scheduled time and cannot access the property, a $75 re-scheduling fee may apply.
4. Payment Terms

We stand behind our work with the following guarantees:
- General Pest Control: 30-day guarantee from service date
- Rodent Control: 60-day guarantee for exclusion work
- Termite Treatments: Varies by treatment type (1-5 years)
- Bed Bug Treatments: 90-day guarantee with proper preparation
- Mosquito Control: 21-day guarantee between treatments
5.2 Warranty Limitations
Our guarantees are subject to the following conditions:
- Proper preparation of the treatment area by the customer
- No structural changes or new pest introductions after treatment
- Follow-up treatments performed as scheduled
- Payment in full for services rendered
5.3 Warranty Claims
To make a warranty claim:
- Contact us within 7 days of noticing pest activity
- Allow our technician to inspect the property
- Follow any recommended preparation guidelines
- Schedule the warranty service at a mutually convenient time
6. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure the effectiveness of our treatments, customers agree to:

- Provide clear access to all treatment areas
- Remove or cover food preparation surfaces as directed
- Secure pets during treatment hours
- Follow specific preparation instructions for each service type
6.2 Safety
- Inform us of any health conditions, allergies, or sensitivities
- Disclose presence of children, pregnant women, or immunocompromised individuals
- Notify us of any beehives, fish ponds, or sensitive plants
- Follow re-entry instructions provided by our technicians
6.3 Property Information
- Provide accurate information about the property
- Disclose previous pest control treatments
- Notify us of any structural issues or water damage
- Update contact information as needed
7. Limitations of Liability
7.1 General Limitation
EcoPest Shield's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific service in question.
7.2 Exclusions
We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing pest damage discovered during our inspection
- Pest issues resulting from customer negligence or failure to follow recommendations
- Damage to property not directly caused by our negligence
- Consequential, incidental, or punitive damages
- Pest problems originating from neighboring properties
7.3 Insurance
EcoPest Shield maintains comprehensive general liability insurance. Certificate of insurance available upon request.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
